Let me first start by saying Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Happy Holidays (my general all inclusive PC statement) to all! I hope the end of the year was both safe and fun. Alot has been happening but I haven't posted much due to those darn holidays and being "off the grid" for a while traveling.
I spent the New Years holiday at the "Happiest place on Earth" (their claim not mine)...Disneyland. It was fun for the whole family....got pictures with Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Minnie, Chip (and Dale), the monkey from Lion King, Belle and most importantly (to my daughter) - CINDERELLA! Saw some phenomenal fireworks, went on California Screamin' - a kick ass rollercoaster at California Adventure, dropped 13 stories in a haunted elevator (Hollywood Tower), saw JoJo and the rest of the Playhouse Disney gang, the Muppets in 3-D, got a sneak preview of the new Monsters, Inc ride and saw a short film on the 50 year history of the park......all while battling the rain and the crowds.....and I found out my daughter likes rollercoasters (not California Screamin' but the more aptly named Roger Rabbit coaster in Toontown).
Rather than bore you with anymore Disney adventures - let me finish by saying we had a blast....and now I need a vacation from my vacation. How long until Memorial Day weekend????
