I know you are all looking at this post screaming - "Where's the 24 update??" but there's been a lot of interesting things happening so I thought I'd throw some links at y'all for some good reading...and don't worry - the 24 update will be up soon (as in the next 24 hours).
That said - onto the show...
+ So it looks like the port deal is dead. Nice to see Dubya take another one in the nuts.
+ NASA scientists revealed that the Cassini spacecraft has found evidence of liquid water spewing from geysers on one of Saturn's icy moons raising the possibility that life may exist there. Scientists say, if the moon does harbor life, it probably consists of microbes or other primitive organisms capable of living in extreme conditions. Keith Richards has a summer home there.
+ Divers in the South Pacific discovered a new animal that resembles a furry lobster. They indicated that it tastes like chicken...
+ On Monday, baseball Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett died at the age of 45. He had been in a Phoenix, Arizona, hospital after suffering a stroke Sunday at his Scottsdale home and undergoing neurosurgery. He'll always be remembered for the energy and exuberance that he brought to the game and to life. RIP Kirby, you will be missed.
